About Department and Purpose of the Position
Being part of the National University Heart Centre’s admin team handling daily finance operations and preparation of grant claims for submission to grantors. Build and maintain working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders within the Healthcare Cluster.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following areas:
- Support daily financial operations of the National University Heart Centre, Singapore (NUHCS).
- Prepare grant claims for timely submission to funding agencies and ensure that adequate supporting documentation is available for audit review.
- Liaise and work with internal and external stakeholders to source financial and non-financial information.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of financial processes and controls for operational efficiency.
- Support other finance functions as and when required by the team.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Accounting; experience in research finance will be advantageous.
- Preferably with 1 to 3 years of working experience.
- Meticulous, good management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- A team player who is capable of working independently and self-aware in meeting deadlines.
- Possess strong attention to detail, accuracy, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience with SAP and/or experience in research grant finance will be advantageous.
- Proficient in using MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
