Overview:


The candidate is responsible for strategising and developing key initiatives to engage key stakeholders and grow strategic partnerships for the National University Centre for Women and Children (NUWoC).
Comprising the Khoo Teck Puat – National University Children’s Medical Institute and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, we offer child and maternal services at the National University Hospital.
We work closely with key community and social partners, philanthropic and corporate organisations to support pilot initiatives and programmes to enhance care delivery, patient experience and elevate the profile of our departments.

 

Our objective is to expand and sustain positive and meaningful relationships with new and existing partners.

 

The candidate will also work closely with multiple stakeholders such as healthcare professionals, the operations and communications teams of NUWoC and relevant departments in the hospital.
The candidate will be part of a team that develops and implements internal and external communications and events to support services under NUWoC. These include and are not limited to integrated marketing efforts, social media campaigns, outreach events and collaborations to build strong partnerships, drive awareness and develop a strong brand portfolio.

 

Job requirements:


• Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies and campaign communication plans
• Engage key stakeholders to maintain strategic partnerships and provide regular updates to department leadership
• Identify and proactively engage potential partners for collaborations to raise profile of NUWoC
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive engagement activities and events
• Plan or support any fundraising and publicity activities
• Monitor and report on stakeholder engagement activities
• Manage stakeholder feedback and input
• Ensure compliance with stakeholder engagement policies and regulations

 

Requirements:


• Relevant degree with up to 5 years experience in philanthropy, grant management, corporate social responsibility, donor/stakeholder/volunteer management, or related field.
• Experience in the government / relevant sector is preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication, and enjoys networking.
• Comfortable with presenting to stakeholders at all levels.
• Understanding of Singapore’s fundraising policies.
• Proficient in marketing research and data analysis is highly favourable.
• Sound knowledge of IT tools, especially high level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Operational knowledge in marketing strategies in social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) is preferred.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.
• Ability to prioritize and plan work activities in an organized manner, able to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Both a strong leader and a good team player. Pro-active, self-motivated and results-oriented.

National University Centre for Women and Children (NUWoC) is a national university specialist centre that aims to empower women, children and their families to lead healthier lives. We provide comprehensive medical and surgical services ranging from pre-conception to child and maternal health.
NUWoC comprises the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G) and Khoo Teck Puat – National University Children’s Medical Institute (KTP-NUCMI) of National University Hospital. It focuses on the right-siting of appropriate services in the community and builds complementary services in National University Health System's (NUHS) centres of excellence – Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Alexandra Hospital.


Through a generous gift from the Estate of Khoo Teck Puat, KTP-NUCMI established an integrated outpatient facility with medical, diagnostic and rehabilitation services for children. We are also the only public specialist centre in Singapore that offers paediatric kidney and liver transplant programmes.
