Overview and Purspose of the Position:

Position holder under the Corporate Planning Section will analyse and interpret data to improve patient care, operational efficiency and support managemnt decision making for the attainment of the Centre's vision and key priorities.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Be well versed and updated on Epic and other operational applications, to propose solutions that will address the needs on operational excellene
  • Identify available and relevant datasets, in collaboration with the relevant Management Decision Support (MDS) teams, to address the data needs of the Centre’s medical and operations teams
  • Mine, clean, and organise datasets from various sources, such as the Next Generation Electronic Medical Record (NGEMR), surveys, etc., ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Analyse and interpret datasets to identify trends and patterns, providing insights that inform decision-making and improve performance
  • Present clear and concise data findings and practical recommendations to the Centre's stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and scorecards to support performance monitoring and reporting

Secondary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer, Section Heads and/or Head of Operations and Administration of the Centre.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering or related disciplines with strong statistical modelling skills
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience with analytics tools e.g. SQL, MS Excel (advanced), data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to collaborate across teams and functions
  • Possess can-do attitude and able to work independently in ambiguous situations
  • Familiarity with healthcare setting will be advantageous
  • Fresh graduates with excellent data capabilities will be considered
