Assistant Director, Finance

As a strong people manager and developer, the Assistant Director will lead a team of qualified professionals and manage the entirety of financial accounting and reporting. Apart from the statutory reporting responsibilities, the successful candidate will also partner the stakeholders in performance management, long and short term strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting as well as tax, treasury and working capital management.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the governance and controls over financial reporting and works closely with internal and external auditors. Implement effective internal financial reporting control initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and management on budgeting, forecasting and cashflow requirements.
• Provides financial forecasting, budgets, performance analysis, investment monitoring and cash optimisation, and in alignment with Corporate guidelines.
• Provides leadership of teams responsible for the preparation and review of reporting.

Job Requirements

• Degree qualified ideally in Accounting/ Finance.
• At least 12 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in healthcare industry is an advantage.
• Full suite finance professional, with prior work experience in financial accounting, budgeting and planning as well as audit.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and ability to interact with team members across levels in achieving objectives.
• Pro-active, resourceful, able to take challenges, work independently or as a team.
• Self-starter that possesses initiative and takes on accountability
• Able to multi-task with ability to navigate in a dynamic fast paced environment
