Overview*

 

We are expanding our team of Finance professionals to support the campus development activities in Alexandra Hospital (AH). Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the Finance work group (as part of the campus program office) to plan, organize and implement the necessary set-up activities as AH transition to its redeveloped campus and scale in year 2028.  You will be a key Finance resource partner to collaborate with various Finance and cross-functional Ops and clinical teams to map out the set-up activities, drive the implementation and change management.  You will also lead a team to provide oversight and manage all costing and pricing matters for AH, formulate its strategy, carry out benchmark analysis and make recommendations that ensures affordable and sustainable care to our patients.    

 

Job Responsibilities*

 

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead the Finance work group under the AH campus redevelopment program office, to plan, organize and implement the Finance and Business Office set-up activities necessary for the expansion and operationalization of AH in year 2028 and beyond.
  • As the key Finance resource to the other clinical and operations work group leads, to collaborate and provide value added support to ensure the collective campus development program office’s milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Lead the Costing & Pricing team in the periodic reviews of cost and drivers, oversee the cost allocation activity, and perform periodic cost refresh and fee revision cycles.
  • Establish a strong understanding of healthcare financials, cost drivers and subsidy framework to provide effective analysis and recommendation to drive competitive costs (include benchmarking, identification of cost saving opportunities through data and metrics, cost recovery deep dive) and guide pricing decisions and strategy.
  • Maintain an effective set of program/specialty financial performance report and analysis to provide insights and drive cost controls with stakeholders.
  • Support and contribute to systems implementation projects (new National Billing System, Costing Systemization, Subsidy review changes etc) and drive change management activity.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties.

 

Requirements*

 

  • Degree in relevant Business or Finance disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience with at least 4 years in a supervisory or management role, and preferably in healthcare industry
  • Has Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience, and Costing & Pricing knowledge
  • Organized, meticulous, resourceful, and able to lead/motivate/develop team as well as work independently in a dynamic environment
  • Energetic with ability to engage effectively with multi-disciplinary stakeholders across levels
  • Resilient character and confidence in management of ambiguity
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in SAP (FI-CO and ISH), MS Office applications and data visualization tools.
