  1. Lead a team to provide the following services to Project Managers/Users managing infrastructure projects across NUHS Cluster.

 

  1. Providing Quantity Surveying services for NUHS infrastructure projects.    
  2. Establish and provide guidance on good practices in procurement, cost and contract administration.
  3. Implement internal audit for NUHS infrastructure projects including management reporting and liaising with MOHH GIA & AGO.
  4. Provide an oversight, reporting and mmanagement of funding and cash flow for NUHS infrastructure projects including liaising with MOHH/MOH.

 

  1. Lead and establish the cost data for infrastructure projects under NUHS including working with external entities (e.g. MOHH & other clusters, etc.).

 

  1. Lead the procurement policies, standard infrastructure contract documents and contract administration processes/templates for periodic review and improvement.

 

  1. Leading and organising the trainings for professional growth and practise.

 

Space Management

 

  1. Provide an oversight on Space Management System (SMS) and ensure the data is updated and progress as work plan.

 

  1. Provide an oversight and review role for Corporate Office Space Management including planning, budgeting, procurement, leasing, maintenance, addressing and solving operational issues.

 

  1. Lead and execute ad-hoc duties in support to the Head of Department and Directors on department’s mission, management reporting, etc (e.g. Secretariat roles & responsibilities, Information Management System, improvement initiativeS etc).  

 

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying or Building for infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in healthcare facilities and/or government projects will be an advantage.
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree from a recognised university in Quantity Surveying or other relevant construction related discipline.
  • Good knowledge of Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, driven with the ability to multi-task.
  • Good time management on tasks allocated.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications eg. MS Words, Powerpoint and Excel.
  • Meticulous and detail oriented
