Reporting to the Deputy Group Chief Technology Officer in NUHS, you will support lead the implementation and integration of advanced Artificial Intelligence / machine learning models and pipelines to augment clinical workflows in NUHS cluster. You will also ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of the models and tools for NUHS by managing the project life cycle, maintain stakeholder relations, ensure compliance with quality and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of clinical research activities, ensuring smooth execution of clinical trials and studies. Collaborate with principal investigators, clinical teams, and research staff to ensure all clinical protocols and procedures are adhered to in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage and coordinate AI-driven research projects within the clinical environment, ensuring that timelines, objectives, and deliverables are met. Work closely with AI researchers, data scientists, and healthcare professionals to facilitate the integration of AI technologies into clinical research.
- Oversee the administration of research grants, including managing submissions, tracking funding, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements. Ensure timely reporting and provide support for budget preparation and monitoring.
- Ensure all project agreements and Memoranda of Agreement (MOA) are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinate with legal and administrative teams to ensure the necessary documentation is in place for research projects, and confirm compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Assist with the recruitment, consent, and monitoring of study participants. Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and regulatory standards in participant management.
- Maintain accurate records of research data, documentation, and correspondence. Ensure data integrity and compliance with all research protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
- Ensure that all clinical trials are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements, institutional policies, and ethical standards. Assist with audit preparation and ensure compliance with local regulatory bodies.
- Foster strong working relationships with multidisciplinary teams, including clinical staff, researchers, and administrative personnel. Act as a liaison between stakeholders and facilitate clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in IT, Business or related field. We accept any candidates with minimum of 2-3 years working in Healthcare in an executive position and above with any degree.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- PMP or PRINCE 2 certification or comparable project management experience
- Familiarity with statistical techniques and data mining methods.
- 3-5 years of IT project management experience with 1+ in healthcare IT projects or healthcare research based projects or coordination is also welcome.
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, particularly in healthcare applications.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work within tight deadlines
- Knowledge of AWS and related cloud services is ideal but not necessary
- Experience in managing technical/infrastructure project management would be good but not necessary
- Experience in Product Management would be good but not necessary
- Any other tasks assigned by the Reporting Officer
