Key Responsibilities

 

  • Business Partnering and decision support

  1. Perform analysis and responsible in business partnering with departments in providing financial advisory and perform feasibility analysis/ modelling on new projects including pricing and costing of new services.
  2. Support, review and implement new MOH policies by analyzing requirements, including determining feasibility, cost, time and resources required (where applicable).
  3. Rationalise and formulate price revision proposals in meeting financial sustainability, taking into consideration patient bill impact.
  4. Assist in the crafting and reviewing of approval papers and proposals of new projects/initiatives on financial aspect.
  5. Provide support and advice to departments and project teams on operational financial matters to ensure smooth operations and timely financials update.
  6. Keep track of all the funding and grants related matters (including milestones, outcomes, submission timelines, and utilization).
  7. Produce and/or provide inputs to concise and value adding reports for regular performance reviews with senior management.

 

  • Value-Based Payment Models and Cost Containment
  1. Review, design, and implement of value-based payment models within NUHS. This includes designing and implementing funding allocation methodology to drive value in healthcare.
  2. Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to understand performance variances, and to identify opportunities for cost optimization / containment.
  3. Assist in crafting of slides and papers for above projects where required.

 

  • Others
  1. Be a resource for finance and value related matters to internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Any ad-hoc projects/tasks assigned by the Reporting Officer and Head of Department.

 

Requirements

 

  1. Minimum Bachelor of Accountancy degree or equivalent
  2. At least 4-6 years of relevant working experience
  3. Meticulous and have an eye for detail
