Data Manager, Quality Innovation & Improvement (Contract)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily data collection for patient’s treatment journey with NTFGH (including explaining objectives of data collection, obtaining informed consent (verbal or written), administering the patient interview and assisting participants through the questions)
  • Closely monitor patients’ outcome, track their follow-up and ensure data collected for post-op is within acceptable period
  • Ensure assessment for each patient is accurate and complete, and data entered into database is consistent with source data collected
  • Submit and present monthly reports and clinical indicators
  • Draft database protocol in compliance with local laws and cluster policies and Domain Specific Research Board (DSRB) standards
  • Data management (including extraction, linkage and aggregation) from different data sources and medical records
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to improve clinical outcomes and patients’ experience.

 

Qualification(s) and Experience

  • Good Postgraduate / Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Engineering or Healthcare disciplines (Psychology, Physiotherapy, Registered nurse, etc).
  • At least 1 to 2 year of relevant work experience in the healthcare sector would be preferred.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with an excellent work attitude
  • Proficient in data management tools (Excel, REDCap)
  • Positive and self-motivated team player with a passion for healthcare
  • Action oriented, highly motivated, meticulous and target focused
  • Proactive and takes initiative to ask questions and clarify issues as they arise, and adaptable to embrace new changes
