Overview*
We are looking for Facilities Engineers with strong expertise in maintenance of Electrical systems and facilities operations to join our Facilities Management team.  The Facilities Engineers will be participating actively in the Kent Ridge Campus (KRC) Master Plan program and interfacing with relevant stakeholders over different phases of its implementation.  They will work with appointed consultants to develop feasible and sustainable technical proposals and/or strategies to meet the hospital operations requirements of the future as well as minimising electrical services disruption in the course of demolition and development works planned. Lastly, these Facilities Engineers essentially are to assist in overseeing the performance of outsourced maintenance service provider to the hospital in completing the maintenance program to ensure the availability and functionality of the installed Electrical systems at all times.

Job Responsibilities*
You will be responsible for the following:
a. Provide technical support and assistance to the KRC Master Plan Project team to access and acquire information on the hospital’s infrastructure and installed systems.
b. Attend and participate in relevant meetings (design planning, interface, technical clarification, etc) as per planned schedule to provide technical inputs as needed.
c. Support and input to the consultants’ technical & design proposal to meet hospital’s operation needs and minimising Electrical services disruption.
d. Coordinate internally for design and interface coordination through the various transition phases of the KRC Master Plan.
e. Review and input to proposed work plans and schedules to achieve control, compatibility and coordinated objective to avoid and minimise operation disruptions.
f. Assist in the management of the appointed maintenance agent and specialist system vendors in their maintenance scope and planned program including breakdown investigations, inspections and audit.

Requirements*

Qualification Required and Area of Discipline
• Minimum Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Power/Technology or related discipline)
•     Minimum 3 years of relevant working experiences

Required Competencies and Capabilities (Skills, Experiences and Professional Licences)
• Possesses good writing and presentation skills.
• Positive work attitude and ability to work with all levels of staffs.
• Previous experience in Electrical installation work is advantageous.
• Possesses BCA Green Mark certification and/or related experiences will be advantageous.
