Executive, Project Management Office (3-Year Contract)
The NUHS Regional Health System (RHS) comprises of NUHS institutions, associated government and regulatory authorities and community partners that work together to look after the health of the population in the West. Since 2023, NUHS has undertaken the role of the Regional Health Manager (RHM) and will work with MOH to co-create and implement several national programmes for health such as Healthier SG, AgeWELL SG and GrowWELL SG.
RHSO is the institution set up to enable the effective delivery of pophealth strategies, working in concert with the Regional Health Manager Implementation Office (ReHMIO) to implement end-to-end transition of care from hospital to community settings. RHSO provides the organisational, governance and administrative structure for the management of resources, including but not limited to manpower, funding, facilities and technology. Project Management Office (PMO) is integrated with the Corporate Development and Performance Management (CDPM) division who will collectively incubate new capabilities and implement/oversee the execution of these new strategies in response to emerging demands.
Reporting to the Manager, PMO RHSO, the incumbent will support the office in operational planning and implementation of key PMO workplans support of RHSO or pophealth objectives objectives. This is to be achieved in close collaboration with internal teams, and internal and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
1. Operational planning and development
- Support PMO to align strategy and execution by developing operational models that are feasible and aligned with real-world operational constraints. This includes considering reviewing current operating model and pivot or adjust operations based on feedback.
- Conduct market research to spot trends and opportunities that shape strategy and inform alignment of operational model.
- Design processes and tools, workflows, etc to support planning and implementation.
- Analyse workflows, identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks and implement improvements to boost productivity and service quality.
2. Communications
- Prepare quality narratives and presentations to communicate strategies and reports.
- Maintain accurate reporting and dashboard to capture workload and outputs
3. Operations
- Lead a team of operational temporary staff to execute operations at community or hospital sites, in accordance with PMO’s team service offerings
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in operations management
- Experience coordinating operations across multiple sites or locations
- Strong observation, analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Project management and marketing knowledge (being able to translate service intent into customer-friendly language through infographics and verbal communication channels, etc)
- An eye for detail and good design
- Adept at systems thinking and being comfortable with ambiguity, complex dynamics and change management.
- Knowledge and experience in communications, business and marketing will be advantageous
- Experience in the Singapore healthcare system and/or knowledge of integrated care models will be advantageous
