About Department and Purpose of the Position

The National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS) is a national specialist centre under the National University Health System (NUHS). It is the only public cancer centre in Singapore treating both paediatric and adult cancers in one facility.

 

We are seeking a Philanthropy Exec / Snr Executive to support NCIS Ops & Admin in developing and executing networking, educational, and professional development programs throughout the year to raise funds for NCIS Cancer Fund. The incumbent will be supporting day-to-day philanthropy, donors and volunteer operations, executing fundraising activities, and conducting post-campaign analysis for our philanthropy activations. With a focus on building a pipeline for NCIS Cancer Fund, this role is crucial in contributing to the success of Cancer Fund that supports financially Disadvantaged Cancer Patients, Cancer Research and Development, as well as Healthcare Education For Staff.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Development, implementation, and evaluation of campaigns to raise funds, increase engagement and raise awareness of digital and in-person events
  • Developing campaign briefs including coordinating the delivery, implementation and evaluation of campaigns
  • Building, coaching and nurturing relationships with top key fundraisers and prospects, using best practice fundraising techniques and testing new and innovative ways to improve campaign results
  • Developing online platforms to promote and maximize engagement and fundraising
  • Event management of key organisational events including efficient management of suppliers, ensuring seamless execution of events
  • Expand mass-participation events and evolve plans to achieve targets
  • Support strategic partnerships across corporate, community, and philanthropic sectors
  • Compliance with all event-related regulations and standards
  • Manage a team of volunteers to the highest levels of performance, engagement and job satisfaction to deliver community events

 

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in communications, marketing, events, program development
  • Ability to produce, analyse, and interpret campaign performance information
  • Experience developing copy, images, and video across multiple channels, including web pages, automated email journeys, social media, and SMS
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including over the phone
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet competing deadlines
