F&B Assistant, Food Services

Job Description

• Assist with ordering, receiving, inspecting and issuing of food & non-food items.
• Ensure all stock is stored in the correct manner and carry out regular stock take.
• Liaise with suppliers and handle queries relating to delivery and stock discrepancies.
• Keep inventory management systems and records up to date.
• Assist with in-house caterings on ordering and setting up for events.  
• Assist with department crockery and cutlery inventory count.
• Handle telephone calls, enquiries and feedback. Record and convey messages, follow up and respond as appropriate with inter-related departments.
• Generate patients’ meal chits from eMOS and handed over to kitchen for assembly of meals.
• Manage diet control in administration work and meal-related matters.
• Assist kitchen during meal assembly and plating ensuring all the meals are loaded accordingly.
• Monitor and collate operations reports on a regular basis, and highlight any discrepancies or irregularities to the Reporting Officer.
• Write minutes of meetings.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Qualification: A minimum Diploma in any field. Candidate with Food Science or Nutrition knowledge would be an advantage.
• Experience: Preferably with at least 2 years of working experience. Fresh Diploma holders are welcome to apply.
• Good phone etiquette, communication and interactive skills.
• Good computer skills in Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Hardworking, ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Able to work independently and also team oriented.
• Good spoken and written English.
• 5-days work week and able to perform shift duties, including weekends and public holidays.
