Manager, Artificial Intelligence Office (1-yr contract)
Overview
Reporting to the GCTO-Solutions lead, you will be tasked with developing multiple LLM solutions for the LLM Team. You will also be tasked with working closely with your team lead to implement the technical priorities and standards for developing & managing technology solutions within the LLM team. The incumbent will also ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of the NUHS(GCTO) tech frameworks and stacks to ensure that we can deliver production ready solutions/services that can be implemented at scale within the NUHS cluster and potentially beyond.
Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following:

Will work as a SWE (Software Engineer) as part of the LLM Team under Solutions. They will work closely with the LLM lead and their team mates to ensure that the technical delivery for the LLM team is of a particular standard.

Will support all ‘to production’ related activities with their teammates for LLM.

Will spend 90% of their time on development related work (they will contribute to projects). So, they will have to commit code as well as perform code reviews for their team members when required.

The balance 10% of their time will be spent coordinating with the team lead and their colleagues on duties relevant to the LLM Team.

Collaborate with healthcare IT teams to integrate cloud-based solutions with existing on-premises systems and electronic health records (EHRs).

Assist in the architectural diagraming and SRB clearance for all cloud solutions in the department.

Guide more junior Software engineers in the GCTO team and troubleshoot problems to achieve end goal.

Assist the LLM team lead in organising our local AI/Tech conferences, showcase NUHS AI/Tech capabilities to attract further talents.
Requirements

A Bachelor of Science from a recognisable university (Computer Science or Field with a strong science/technical background e.g. Math, Physics or Engineering specialities).

Minimum of 5 years of experience working in tech delivery

Have experience working with and coordinating with multiple development teams.

At least 2 years of working experience with DevOps team/s working with AWS/Azure/Alibaba/Google Cloud.

Working experience with on prem teams is a desirable bonus.

2 years of experience working with Docker would be a good bonus.
-
2 years of experience with Kubernetes would be a good bonus.

Has been a full stack engineer for at least 4 years.

At least 4 years of experience in C#/ Java

At least 2 years of experience with Python
-
At least 4 years of experience with front end; Reach, Angular.

Mobile experience is a welcome bonus.

Must have experience with Data Visualisation tools e.g. Grafana, Tableau, PowerBI

Have experience with executing working in both Waterfall (Traditional project management) as well as Agile (Scrum, Kanban) is a welcome bonus.

Some experience with event driven/messaging systems/event brokers: Kafka, RabbitMQ. At least a year.

Must have experience working with LLMs technologies.

Must have experience working on Machine Learning projects.

Experience in Healthcare would be a bonus but having experience in verticals touching relevant needs such as Data Visualisation, Machine Learning, LLMs and full stack application development built for cloud would be desired as well.

Strong written and verbal English; will be required for effective communications with the technical teams.
