Overview

Group Operations and Group Information & Technology are part of the National University Health System (NUHS), a leading academic health system and one of three public healthcare clusters in Singapore.

 

Key Operations portfolios have been functionally integrated across NUHS to better support the implementation of the NUHS Care Plan and to realise the synergies of coming together as OneNUHS to better serve our patients and our community. 

Similarly, the Group Information & Technology was formed to integrate the Cluster’s digital, technology, cybersecurity and data portfolios, so as to better deliver value-driven, innovative and sustainable healthcare. 

 

As HR Manager, you will take on a HR Business Partner (HRBP) role and work closely with the Heads of Departments (HODs) and line managers on human resource matters, namely, manpower planning and resourcing; talent acquisition; employee engagement; and talent retention. You are expected to work with HODs to develop and implement manpower planning and resourcing strategies; hire quality candidates to meet the departments’ manpower needs; and help to identify talents for development and retention. You will also provide support in projects as assigned by your supervisor. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Implement manpower planning and resourcing strategies to hire quality candidates to meet the manpower needs and ensure efficient end-to-end process with on-boarding new hires and exits.
  • Manage and execute the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Partner with HODs to identify business challenges and propose possible solutions.
  • Provide on-going performance management guidance to HODs and line managers that contribute towards a professionally conducted annual Total Performance Management exercise.
  • Provide guidance to HODs and staff to deliver accurate and timely answers to staff queries. 
  • Resolve employee relations issues through thorough and objective investigations, where necessary
  • Annual manpower and budgeting exercise.
  • Participate in projects when assigned.

 

Attributes

  • A good degree, preferably in human resource or business-related field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant HR working experience. Experience in healthcare will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-changing environment.
  • Good numerical sense, meticulous and a strong problem-solver.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint tools for data analysis, building manpower charts etc.
