Responsibilities

  • Involved in the planning of organization's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) workflows for clinical and operational uses
  • Support organization's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system by providing operational support for day-to-day EMR related services when hospital is operational
  • Represent Medical Informatics Department at Hospital Programs and planning workgroups
  • Lead and Mentor Team Members by assuming the roles of group or team lead as required
  • Obtain proficiency and/or certification in EMR application

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, computer science, business or related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in IT operations and 3 years of experience in managing a team
  • Post-graduate training in relevant topic / specialty will be an advantage.
  • Experience in IT project management and clinical systems implementation is preferred. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant application training at Certification / Proficiency level, competency in Microsoft SQL and prior experience in data production life cycle will be a bonus. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • A team player with postitive attitude and open to learn new skill sets (domains or tools).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Passion for continuous learning and a self-directed learner. 
  • Agile and adaptable to volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) envionments. 
  • Ability to multi-task.
