Overview:

To provide the infrastructure support in the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects for Strategic Facility Planning (SFP), Special Centre and Corporate Office works.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a dashboard including monitor and co-ordinate infrastructure development activities. 
  • Support the Director(s) on infrastructure projects.
  • Engagement with respective department and work closely with Head of Departments (HOD) and provide subject matter advice on infrastructure matters.
  • Engagement with respective departments to carry out feasibility studies for infrastructure space design and planning.
  • Lead the design development and execute infrastructure projects including search evaluation of space, procurement, budgetary, contract, review of tenancy agreement, project management and facility management.
  • Lead the procurement of consultancy and construction packages for the implementation of the projects.
  • Attending project meetings, site meetings, management update and taskforce for department’s initiatives.
  • Review and approve project schedules, method statements, material submission and permit to work during construction stage.
  • Finalise contracts and ensure proper closure of project accounts.
  • Oversee and manage consultants and contractors in the delivery of their services in accordance with their contract terms.
  • Lead and execute ad-hoc duties in support of department’s mission e.g. improvement initiatives, review of SOP, etc

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Architecture, Building, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or equivalent.
  • At least 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, with proven tract record in public sector or healthcare infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent written and verval communication skills.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated and driven with the ability to multi-task.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Good time management on tasks allocated.
  • Conversant with the use of software like AutoCAD, BIM, Space Management Software, Sketch Up, etc.
