Job Overview

The National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS) is a national specialist centre under the National University Health System (NUHS). It is the only public cancer centre in Singapore treating both paediatric and adult cancers in one facility.

 

We are seeking an outstanding and highly motivated talent to be part of our incredible team, supporting the planning, execution and achievement of NCIS work plan and deliverables.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Enable team's efforts in initiating, developing, implementing and coordinating experiments, in close collaboration with partners and stakeholders in the healthcare eco-system, and using lean and agile methodologies with design thinking
  • Identify opportunities to implement or facilitate strategies with Clinical Directors to ensure the objectives/programmes meet the clusters' target
  • Manage the projects procurement and approval process to ensure all approval papers are in order and are submitted on time
  • Enable team's efforts in managing project budgets and resources meticulously, including but not limited to identifying risks and assessing budget impact
  • Facilitate project meetings, see through follow-ups and deliver project presentations
  • Acquire domain knowledge and build technical expertise within NCIS for the development and implementation of healthcare infrastructure projects
  • Multi-departmental collaborations to complile and streamline process; develop technical references etc.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned

 

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Bachelor Degree i.e. Architecture / Civil Engineering / Building Construction / Project Mannagement or equivalent from a recognised university
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience, preferrably in a healthcare related environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent planning, analytical and quantitative skills
  • Adaptable, able to multi-task and work well independently and in a team
  • Confident and able to work under pressure
