Overview

The HR Group Shared Services (GSS) team is seeking for individual with subject matter expertise to sit within the Employee Service Division (ESD) that oversee the Benefits and Learning & Development (L&D) administration. This specialist will perform and supervise a team of specialists to ensure meeting of monthly KPIs and Service standard by timely and accurate execution of daily operations that supports all the institutions in NUHS cluster. The ideal candidate is expected to deep-dive and problem-solve into operational issues and provide guidance to the team where necessary.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach a team of specialists to achieve desired levels of performance and quality for seamless delivery of daily Benefits and L&D operational matters.
  • Oversee the insurance claims (e.g GTL, medical for clinicians) processing to ensure the claims are timely processed by insurer.
  • Manage benefits related administration such as Long Service Awards and handling of medical claims for key stakeholders.  
  • Act as an advisor and provide guidance to the team for related escalations or issues that arise.
  • Support monthly Divisional Service Level Agreement (SLA) statistical reporting to effectively present trends and team performance indicators and assist in other ad-hoc statistics report where applicable.
  • Drive process improvements and system enhancements within the team for efficiency and effectiveness and ensure in compliance with relevant local employment regulations and company policies.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resource or Business-related discipline.
  • More than 6 years of HR experience with minimum 3 years relevant to benefits and/or L&D operations.
  • Understanding of HR benefits practises and employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and knowledge with SuccessFactor will be an advantage.
  • Self-driven, strong adaptability, meticulous and ability to prioritise work.
