Purpose of Role

To plan, implement and support daily hospital operations and ensure the team of frontline staff provides a consistently high level of service standards.



  • Perform daily supervision and monitoring of Patient Service Associates (PSA) and Patient Service Coordinators (PSC) and ensure consistent high level of customer service.
  • Ensure hospital facilities are kept in good condition and maintain 5S standards.
  • Analyse and investigate patient feedback/ complaints and implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Responsible for staff daily assignment, scheduling of roster and arrange for cross coverage.
  • Play an active role in communicating products, known issues and policies changes to staff.
  • Directly coach staff and develop/ update training materials.
  • Able to present ideas convincingly to generate acceptance from others.
  • To be actively engaged in the monitoring of discipline and conduct of all PSAs and PSCs.
  • Actively identify and carry out process improvement for areas directly involved. e.g. Kaizen, WOW initiatives.
  • Accurate and timely submission of reports e.g. monthly BSC, OQC.
  • To support Emergency Planning activities e.g. civil emergency, pandemic outbreak, etc.
  • To participate in corporate events, whenever necessary e.g. outreach programmes etc.
  • To motivate and encourage staff participation in community outreach programmes etc.
  • To undertake any assignments or projects when assigned by the Manager/ HOD.



  • Degree from a recognised institution is preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of hospital operations would be preferred.
