Senior Assistant Manager, Medical Affairs Education
Overview
The candidate will be responsible in managing Undergraduate (UG) school attachments with our key stakeholders, across different professions – Nursing, AHP and Medical. Beside managing school attachments, the candidate would need to conduct Next Generation Electronic Medical Records training for students.
The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, have strong IT skills and has high adaptability.
Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following:
Posting Coordination and administrative support
- Manage the end-to-end process of student postings to the hospital.
- Ensure alignment of postings with academic requirements, timelines and institutional policies.
- Coordinate posting schedules, and necessary documentation.
Stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate with department heads and clinical educators to enhance training methodologies and curricula.
Student Management
- Conduct basic Next Generation Electronic medical records training for students
- Guide students through the posting process, including briefing session, assessment requirements and application processes.
Data and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of student posting and produce reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Use data to track outcomes, identify trends, and suggest improvements to the posting program.
Process Improvement
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of posting systems and processes within the institution
Other roles
- Manage departmental administrative duties such as on-site support for teachings, minutes taking for meeting, running of courses.
- Involve in cluster-led committee and activities.
Requirements
- Degree in any discipline
- 3 to 5 years’ work experience in an administrative related role, preferably in an educational/ healthcare institution
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to confidently engage and consult with senior level internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational ability and high attention to details
- Self-driven with a high level of autonomy and yet be a team player simultaneously
- Able to set priorities, multi-task, well organized, meticulous and thorough in monitoring projects and providing administrative support
- To be proactive and demonstrate creative, innovative to problem solving
- Willingness to adopt flexible work hours if needed
- Proficient in computer skills and MS applications
