Senior / Data Analyst

We are looking for an individual with a background in data analysis to be part of the Quality, Innovation and Improvement team, Information Network (IN) section. IN is a platform for the development of strategic and tactical plans to support the effective and efficient use of information in JurongHealth Campus (JHC) for better decision-making; and improving standards of care and safety. It aims to raise the overall standard of information use, data management and analytics capabilities in JHC.

Responsibilities

1. Information Network Secretariat (50%)

• Support the smooth running of the IN annual plans, meetings and action items.

2. Data Management, Analysis and Visualisation (50%)

• To take requirements from users to address information needs from IT systems.
• To extract data from IT and Electronic Medical Record Systems such as Epic.
• To create automated reports and dashboards for data tracking
• to do basic data analysis; and create run charts / statistical process control charts
• Participate in advanced analytics projects where applicable

And any other assignments as tasked by Reporting Officer and Head of Department

Requirements

• Good Postgraduate/Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Math, Health Economics, Public Health or equivalent
• Strong technical background and expertise in the areas of statistical analysis, data management and data visualisation
• Proficient in analytics and visualisation tools such as Python, Tableau and/or R
• Excellent project management and organisational skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work with teams
• Healthcare experience would be a bonus
• Training will be provided as necessary
