Overview
Provision of technical and administrative ownership for site automation/ IT equipment, systems and related matters pertaining to routine operations, maintenance and minor projects.
Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following:
• Custodian and technical stewardship for automation related systems
• Drafting/ review/ approval of SOPs, WPs, and other quality related documents for automation
• Lead CMs and PMs for automation, functional level IT and AV systems. Including building management system, environment management system, fire alarm system, security system, IT systems supporting these systems and AV systems.
• Ensure maintenance and service contracts are executed as per requirements; establish regular review points with external contractors as required to continually improve processes and performance.
• Support maintenance shutdown activities
• SME for automation & functional level IT systems during regulatory inspection
• Lead/ Support Capex improvement projects
• Human and financial resource planning
• Lead/ support EHS best practices
Requirements
• Diploma in an engineering/ IT discipline with minimum 8 years working experience or Degree in an engineering discipline with minimum 5 years of working experience.
• Well versed in PLC and SCADA platforms like Allen Bradley/ Rockwell, Siemens, and Schneider
• Well versed with automation protocols like Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus DP/PA, Profinet, SQL, OPC, etc.
• Working knowledge of computer networks
• Well connected with technology and markets trends for Automation & IT
• Some experience working with Integrated AV systems
• Able to work in a multi-cultural, fast-paced environment with little guidance
• Has prior experience leading teams but is also able to leverage on cross functional support with less direct reports
• Experience managing both internal and external stakeholders
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in managing contractors in cGMP facility operations
• Experience in cGMP requirements is preferred.
