Overview
To assist and manage financial operations within NUHS Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office.
This position is a 1-year contract role, renewable based on satisfactory job performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage budget and monitor usage of funds for residency programmes to ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Prepare reports to provide insights for decision-making.
- Forecast and disbursement of funds to internal and external stakeholders.
- Track and collate funding related documentation for submission.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate communication between Finance and other departments to support efficient functioning of financial operations.
- Assist in audits and assessments, provide necessary documentation and support.
- Support events and education-related activities organised by NUHS GME Office.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree, preferably in Finance, Statistics or Accounting (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Understanding of budgeting and subvention is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to communicate effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well independently as well as in teams.
- Proficient with Excel and other MS office applications.
