Job Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)
Assist the NUHS@Home Training & Education Lead in managing NUHS@Home training and education matters:
- Coordinate the orientation and training of newly joined doctors, advanced practice nurses (APNs), and clinical pharmacists
- Coordinate the orientation and training of specialists doing their NUHS@Home fellowship
- Coordinate the rotations of NUHS trainees (residents & hospital clinicians) into NUHS@Home
- Coordinate NUHS@Home electives/job shadowing programmes
- Ensure successful accreditation of NUHS@Home as a residency training site by maintaining proper documentation and ensuring compliance with the requirements set out by the Joint Committee on Specialist Training (JCST)
- Ensure successful accreditation of NUHS@Home as a MOPEX rotation by maintaining proper documentation and ensuring compliance with the requirements set out by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)
- Oversee the Medical Officer Posting Exercise and 6-montly Medical Officer rotations (once established in the future)
Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (20%)
- Assist the Training & Education Lead in continual development of programme and curriculum
- Manage rotation schedules, coordinate educational activities, and track junior doctor duty hours and violations
- Facilitate the on-boarding process, including coordinating interviews, evaluating candidates, and maintaining a candidate database
- Develop new EPA evaluation forms if required, and ensured accurate measurement of trainee evaluations for CCC reports
- Trigger assessments and collate data for report generation
- Support the administration, logistics, and publicity efforts for NUHS@Home Grand Rounds and Peer-Review Learning (PRL) sessions
- Support the administration and logistics for in-house courses and workshops
- Maintain the NUHS@Home credentialing and priviledging database
- Disseminate announcements on training activities by other institutions to doctors
- Arrange and take minutes for committee meetings
Others
- Manage educational activities and support the Training & Education Lead, ensuring a well-trained faculty and a positive learning experience for all trainees
- Streamline daily operations by promptly resolving trainee queries and updating stakeholders with critical information
- Key administrative point of contact for all matters relating to the NUHS@Home training and education
- Liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Undertake any other tasks and projects as assigned by the Manager or Head of Department
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in related field, preferably in healthcare
- Knowledge of programme coordination and experience in administration is an advantage
- Meticulous, organised and diligent
- Adaptable, resourceful and responsible
- Able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well independently and in a team and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
- Proficient with MS office applications
