Senior Executive (NUHS@Home)

As a Senior Executive for NUHS@Home, you will play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory compliance and strengthening overall governance to enable safe effective operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks such as the Personal Data Protection Act and risk assessment protocols, etc. Additionally, you will support IT-related sourcing processes and work to enhance overall governance structures.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the business unit complies with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), especially in handling patients' personal and medical information.
- Support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in aligning operations, systems, and communications with PDPA obligations.
- Work with clinical and administrative teams to embed privacy-by-design into care processes.
- Implement data protection policies and SOPs relevant to ensure staff are clear on use, disclosure, retention, and disposal procedures.
- Assist in conducting data protection impact assessments for new initiatives (e.g. new systems, AI tools, or apps).
- Prepare and support internal audits or external reviews on data governance
- Coordinate internal response to data breaches, including incident investigation, root cause analysis, documentation and reporting to the DPO.
- Ensure all vendors handling patient data (e.g. nursing services, transport services, telehealth platforms) have proper data protection clauses in their contracts.
- Assist in conducting due diligence checks and regular reviews for vendor compliance.
- Support coordination of project delivery, tracking, and communications for digital health initiatives
- Support and coordinate roll-out of new digital tools (e.g. devices, EMR enhancement), including tracking of issues, timeline
- Support change management activities to facilitate user adoption
- Successful execution of other matters as and when assigned by RO and HOD.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and planning skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing and prioritizing multiple tasks.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when required.
- Positive work attitude and adaptability to changing situations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Preferably 1 year of experience in project management, operations, or a related field, ideally in healthcare or technology.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Gantt charts, project management software) is a plus.
