Manager/Senior Manager, National Centres Finance

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Be a key financial resource, providing value-added support to the clinical and operational partners in understanding their operations’ financials, performance, as well as review of strategic plans
    • work with operational partners to strategically grow the national centres; to review operational initiatives and investment plans
    • provide data analysis and insights to facilitate decision making
  • Lead and drive monthly management reporting, developing impactful periodic reports which include productivity and financial analysis
  • Lead and drive annual budget and projection cycles, working with departments to understand the opportunities  and risks and develop improvement plans
  • Work closely with institutional finance teams as well as group finance team to enable effective and timely submissions
  • Drive sustainable operations by providing analysis of results and tracking key metrics while advising operational partners on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions
  • Lead analysis on financial modelling on new capital investments and evaluate its financial viability
  • Support and contribute to systems implementation projects (Costing systemisation, subsidy review changes etc)
  • Review of key processes and drive process improvements
  • Support new and on-going projects to enhance finance processes and controls
  • Provide effective strategic leadership and direction to the team by encouraging a culture of open and constructive collaboration and teamwork
  • Provide coaching, mentor and feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy degree or equivalent
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant working experience, preferably in healthcare sector
  • Has Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience
  • Excellent analytical, written and interpersonal skills
  • Able to understand concepts quickly and model data in meaningful ways
  • Team player with the ability to manage institutional relationships
  • Organised, motivated and thrive when facing challenges
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office Applications such as Excel (advanced), Powerpoint, VBA macros, as well as data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI)
