Overview and purpose of the position

To manage and support the design and development of NUHS Academy’s Leadership, Nursing and Allied Health Centre of Excellences. The role would include the development of learning pathways, competency frameworks, skills matrices and related learning curricula and programs to build the One-NUHS Leader-Manager, Nurse and Allied Health Professional.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement Academy’s COLE, CoNE & CAHE development.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders/experts councils to plan, project, build expertise pipeline @all levels.
  • Design and develop progressive & learning pathways for managers, nurses and AHPs.
  • Carry out job evaluation, identify job competency gaps, learning needs & implement related job role IDPs.
  • Develop Job Competency Frameworks and related Job role skills maps.
  • Design and develop program architecture & curricula.
  • Work with institutions on skills inventory management and drive related job re-design and JST initiatives with each job family domains.
  • Work with stakeholders on formulating common guidelines/policies and quality standards.
  • Manage the adoption of technology & innovation @ Academy centres’ of excellence.

 

 

Requirements:

  • A Masters degree in HRD, Education or training related domains is preferable.
  • Minimum 10 years in human resource development or related learning & development experience; working in large public or private sector organizations. Key competencies required include:
