Overview:
To provdie end-to-end support for Principal Investigator (PI) and co-investigators in the development and deployment of advanced analytics, with a focus on data cleaning, large language models (LLMs), and generative AI solutions. This role bridges technical expertise, applied research, and healthcare impact, ensuring high-quality data pipelines and clinically meaningful AI outputs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Data Management & Cleaning – Design, implement, and maintain robust pipelines for extracting, cleaning, and transforming multimodal healthcare data (EMR, imaging, sensor, chatbot).
- Model Development (LLM/GenAI) – Develop, fine-tune, and validate LLM and GenAI models for clinical, operational, and research use cases.
- Research & Innovation Support – Collaborate with PI and co-investigators to design study protocols, analytics pipelines, and publications.
- Deployment & Scalability – Work with engineering/IT to deploy models on secure platforms (AWS, Synapxe, HCC, HEALIX), ensuring compliance with PDPA, HSA, and MOH AI governance.
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration – Work with clinicians, researchers, and external collaborators to translate AI into clinical workflows.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Degree (MSc/PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Biomedical Informatics, AI or related field.
- Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs), transformers, or healthcare Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Familiarity with LangChain, or other agent frameworks.
- Strong coding skills in Python with ML frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, HuggingFace).
- Experience working with clinical data or in healthcare AI settings is a plus.
- Able to work independently and meticulously.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills.
