Assistant Director (Resourcing, Sponsorship & Scholarship)

As part of the TGCH HR team, you will formulate and drive the HR strategies for the branding, talent acquisition, sponsorship, and scholarship that are aligned with TGCH’s core mission. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team, partnering closely with key stakeholders to identify the staffing needs and build a sustainable and robust pipeline of talents.
Additionally, you will play a key role in the hospital’s nesting plan and broader HR strategic projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner the Leads to identify the manpower requirements and formulate proactive resourcing strategies in driving and delivering the hiring plans to meet the manpower demands;
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing, interview, selection, offer to on-boarding of new staff members for the TGCH team;
- Work in partnership with Leads and various stakeholders on the deployment/nesting of the TGCH team;
- Manage the pre-service sponsorship and scholarship programmes, collaborating with TGCH Communications on outreach strategies, and Cluster HR on the roadshows/talks and recruitment events;
- Provide professional advice on the interpretation of HR policies, procedures, legislation relating to resourcing to TGCH team;
- Provide supervision and coaching to the executives in the team to ensure the effective, efficient, and professional delivery of HR plans, programmes and services;
- Keep abreast and work progressively on the human resource related policies, make recommendations to ensure that they are relevant and in compliance with the regulatory requirements and are up-to-date with the healthcare climate changes;
- Work with Centres of Excellence and relevant key stakeholders in the delivery of key HR projects and initiatives;
- Any other ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource, or its related discipline.
- Minimum 14 years of relevant experience in HR Business Partnering with proven record in talent acquisition.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment, quick thinker and an effective problem solver. Calm, decisive, and resilient in high-pressure situations.
- Attention to detail, ability to prioritise workload, be well organised and multi-task in a smart and timely fashion.
- Possess strong analytical, communication, written and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, in a team and across teams with minimal supervision.
- Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationship at various levels.
- Proactive attitude and determination to ensure required outcomes are achieved and takes responsibility.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and nurture the team to meet institutional goals.
- Tech-savvy with an ability to learn new software and other relevant programs.
