Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic professional to support and assist our clinical departments in identifying, designing and building models where data analytics can be applied to generate insights and facilitate decision making for business operations.
You will provide guidance and support in charge codes creation while incorporating service and charge rules for departmental efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist to prepare accurate and timely department financial report for and decision-making.
- Key area of focus: impact of new service codes, impact of fee revision, workload and NPR trending for various stakeholders
- Develop data analytics strategy and data collection framework; Extract, Transform, Load (ETL), interpret data and analyse results.
- Develop direct connectivity to visualisation & AI software. Build templates for regular reports (qtrly P&L, AH&P, IP income/exp, OP reports, OT margin reports).
- Provide on-going metrics for initiatives, contribution to improvements, as well as monitoring performance of decisions.
- To provide expertise in guiding clinical departments in charge code creation while incorporating service rule and charge rule logic for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Develop or tap on tools to automate preparation and presentation of measurements and metrics in the form of ppt, reports and dashboards.
Job Requirements:
- Degree/Post-graduate in Accounting & Finance, Business, Data Science or related fields.
- Proficient in the use of SQL, Python, MS Excel (advanced( and Data Visualization tools (e.g. Tableau).
- Strong analytical skills a must with ability to apply business logic to design and implement data mining techniques on large data sets.
- Possess strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Working knowledge of data mining and forecasting/predictive modelling tools and techniques.
- Ability to deliver clear, concise reports and presentations/dashboards with an ability to effectively articulate observations and recommendations.
- Good interpersonal skills, a detail-oriented & flexible person who can work across different areas within the team.
- Can-do attitude and ability to work independently.
- Prior experience in Healthcare will be an advantage.
