Assistant Manager, Data Insights Unit (2-Year Contract)
Role Overview:
The Assistant Manager will support the coordination and delivery of projects, programmes, and stakeholder engagements within the Data Insights Unit (DIU). The role works closely with clinical, operational, research, and corporate stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of initiatives that support healthcare improvement, service transformation, and data-informed decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Project and Programme Support
- Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of projects and initiatives.
- Assist in gathering requirements, documenting workflows, and coordinating discussions with stakeholders.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, and action items to support timely delivery.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare updates, and follow up on agreed actions.
- Support implementation, user engagement, and post-implementation review activities.
- Assist in monitoring project outcomes and supporting benefits realisation efforts.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
- Support engagement and collaboration with clinical, operational, research, and administrative stakeholders.
- Coordinate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and engagement activities.
- Gather, consolidate, and communicate stakeholder feedback to support project planning and continuous improvement.
- Prepare presentation materials, reports, and meeting summaries for project discussions.
Department Operations and Continuous Improvement
- Support the day-to-day operations and administrative activities of the Data Insights Unit.
- Maintain project documentation, trackers, and operational records.
- Contribute to internal process improvement initiatives and the development of good work practices.
- Capture lessons learnt and support knowledge-sharing activities within the team.
- Participate in initiatives that contribute to the growth and sustainability of the unit.
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in healthcare, healthcare administration, healthcare operations, or related settings will be an advantage.
- Experience in project implementation, process improvement, digital transformation, or related initiatives will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with Python and experience working with technical teams to deliver data-driven or technology-enabled solutions will be an advantage.
