Overview
The candidate will provide administrative and secretariat support to the Group Chief Nurse (GCN), in relation to cluster and national committees and initiatives.
You will also ensure smooth running of the NUHS Nursing Leaders Council, and assist the Council in developing, implementing and tracking nursing strategies and initiatives across NUHS institutions. You are expected to engage with internal and external stakeholders on cluster and national agenda that NUHS Nursing is contributing to.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute the NUHS Nursing Council operations and meetings
- Monitor and provide report on the NUHS Nursing Council work plans and organisational priorities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of NUHS Centre of Nursing ExcellenceGroup
- Assist GCN in NUHS, national and international platforms and initiatives, by keeping track and following up on arising matters and plans
- Collaborate and engage internal and external stakeholders to coordinate Group Nursing operations, initiatives and events
- Support project conceptualisation, develop timelines, and facilitate discussions, including coordinating inputs and follow-ups to drive milestones and timelines
- Develop and prepare briefing documents, presentations, and reports for both internal and external engagements
- Drive continuous improvements to enhance planning, organisation and work processes, including data analysis and reporting, use of technology for work efficiency
- Provide full administrative support to GCN, including managing calendar, organising meetings, and arranging business travel
- Compose professional correspondence and ensure prompt follow-up on action items
- Assist with special projects and additional tasks as assigned by the GCN
Required Qualification & Competencies
- A Bachelor Degree
- 5 - 8 years of working experience, with at least 3 years of experience in supporting Senior Management
- Strong planning, project management and organisational skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, team player
- Strong command in spoken and written English
- Good analytical thinking and has a growth mindset
- Proactive in problem solving, and able to multi-task and work independently
