Assistant Manager, Human Resource (Tengah General and Community Hospital 1-year contract)
The role supports the coordination and administration of HR activities, including recruitment, performance management, benefits administration and HR operations. The successful candidate will work closely with departments and stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of HR services and initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate recruitment activities with hiring managers and support the end-to-end hiring process from sourcing to onboarding.
- Manage job postings, interview scheduling, offer administration and onboarding arrangements.
- Monitor recruitment progress and maintain recruitment records and trackers.
- Liaise with hiring managers, candidates and relevant stakeholders to facilitate smooth recruitment processes.
- Performance Management
- Support the performance management and promotion exercises, including timeline coordination and process administration.
- Prepare performance data, reports, and materials for review discussions.
- Liaise with stakeholders and follow up on submissions to ensure timely completion of activities.
- Maintain accurate performance records and HRIS data.
- Assist with communications, employee enquiries, and process improvements related to performance management.
- Benefits & Wellness
- Attend to staff enquiries on benefits eligibility, claims processes and wellness related matters.
- Support periodic reviews to ensure compliance with established processes and guidelines.
- Support benefits and wellness reviews and implementation of new initiatives where required.
- HR Operations
- Respond to employee enquiries on HR policies, procedures and HR-related matters, and liaise with relevant stakeholders where required.
- Support the administration of HR processes and maintain HR records and documentation in accordance with organisational requirements.
- Support the delivery of day-to-day HR operations and services.
- Others
- Support the implementation of HR initiatives, programmes and projects.
- Coordinate project-related activities, meetings and documentation where required.
- Any other ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant HR experience in recruitment or a HR generalist role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Organised, detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Possess strong analytical, communication, written and interpersonal skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different groups.
