Assistant Manager (Manpower Planning)
(Tengah General and Community Hospital)
As part of Tengah General and Community Hospital (TGCH) HR team for manpower planning, you will be collaborating with various stakeholders (including TGCH Management, Leads, Reporting Officers, HR Business Partners and HR Centre of Excellence teams) to support manpower recruitment and retention initiatives as the team gears up for nesting and opening of the new hospital. As the subject matter expert, you will be required to serve as strategic HR advisor to the internal stakeholders on manpower planning and developing data-driven manpower analysis. In addition, you will be required to be proficient with numbers, excel functions and AI tools as there will be a need to track and synthesize the manpower numbers across different institutions within NUHS.
Job Description
- Extract data from HR systems to deliver high quality reports and provide meaningful workforce insights for manpower dashboards and regular manpower reporting.
- Develop and maintain HR metrics to track workforce trends and performance indicators.
- Collaborate with HR teams, internal and external stakeholders on manpower projections for future hospital needs.
- Maintain accurate establishment data / budgeted FTE for budgeting, hiring and reporting purposes.
- Check and validate manpower projections and manpower establishment.
- Ensure accurate data management in HR systems and tracking files.
- Provide professional advice on data analytics.
- Undertake projects/assignments which may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics.
- Minimum 3 years of manpower planning / HR experience. Candidates with more relevant years of experience may be considered for the Senior Assistant Manager’s position.
- Experience with data visualization tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Meticulous with a flair for numbers.
- A team player with strong verbal, written communication, interpersonal and organisation skills
- Agile and adaptable, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
