Director, Business Operations and Go-to-Market
Job Title: Director, Business Operations and Go-to-Market (BizOps & GTM)
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Role Overview
We are seeking a high-capacity operator and strategic leader to join our leadership team as the Director of Business Operations & Go-to-Market. Reporting directly to the COO, this hybrid role integrates company-level business operations, commercial execution, and health-system AI adoption leadership—ensuring that EndeavourX’s products achieve real-world clinical and operational impact across NUHS and external clients.
This is a pivotal role for a fast-growing AI spinout. You will:
• Drive operational excellence across multiple functions.
• Lead cross-functional GTM strategy and execution.
• Oversee AI workflow integration, adoption, and benefits realisation with health-system partners.
• Act as an organisational force multiplier, building structure, cadence, and accountability as the company scales.
The role will suit a strategic thinker with strong stakeholder management, a builder’s mindset, and exceptional ability to execute in a dynamic startup–enterprise hybrid environment. As the company grows, this role offers a pathway toward expanded senior leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Operations (BizOps)
Strategic & Cross-Functional Operations
• Partner with COO to integrate day-to-day operations across legal, finance, HR, product, clinical, data science, and customer-facing teams.
• Establish and lead the BizOps function, including OKR setting, quarterly business reviews, operating rhythms, and cross-functional execution cadences.
• Develop and standardise company-wide processes to support internal scaling (hiring, onboarding, budgeting, resource planning), and external scaling (product deployments, customer engagements).
Organisational Structure & Leadership
• Build operating models to align clinical, technical, and commercial teams for rapid AI use-case rollout.
• Maintain executive-ready reporting for the CEO and COO, including Board materials, management accounts summaries, performance dashboards, and KPI packs.
2. Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Execution
GTM Strategy & Commercial Engine Building
• Lead strategic initiatives and special projects from the CEO/COO, including major accounts, partnership structuring, and pricing strategy.
• Develop and refine GTM strategy across segments (public healthcare, private hospitals, regional markets), aligning commercial pipeline with product and clinical priorities.
• Define customer segmentation, ICPs, commercial channels, and expansion roadmaps.
Execution & External Engagement
• Own execution of GTM plans, including negotiations, contracting, procurement cycles, and stakeholder management.
• Partner closely with Sales & Customer Success teams to accelerate pipeline progression, customer onboarding, and product usage.
3. Sales & Customer Success Oversight (As Required)
(Especially during VP Sales & CS maternity leave in 1H 2026)
• Provide interim leadership of Sales & CS, ensuring continuity of day-to-day sales operations, reporting, pipeline hygiene, and customer engagement.
• Mentor junior team members to maintain delivery reliability during the transition period.
4. AI Workflow Integration, Adoption & Scaling
This Director will co-lead, with the COO, the operationalisation of AI use cases across clinical and operational settings.
Workflow Integration & Change Management
• Engage clinical, nursing, operations, and allied health teams to map current vs future workflows for AI-enabled processes.
• Lead workflow redesign efforts to integrate AI tools into patient-care and administrative pathways.
• Coordinate closely with project technical leads and PMOs on technology development, integration, and Epic/downstream system alignment.
• Ensure implementations meet clinical governance standards and regulatory expectations.
Adoption, Implementation & Scaling
• Lead institutional rollout of AI use cases: pilots, onboarding, adoption cycles, and scale-up.
• Develop implementation playbooks, SOPs, and site-specific operational guides.
• Align adoption activities with enterprise-level programmes within health systems, ensuring EndeavourX products land firmly in operational practice.
⸻
5. Benefits Realisation & KPIs
• Support development of benefits cases (throughput gains, staff time saved, clinical efficiency, safety outcomes).
• Define and track adoption metrics, usage analytics, benefit realisation, and operational KPIs for AI deployments.
• Work with health system PMOs and EndeavourX leadership to feed results into portfolio reporting, quarterly business reviews, and Board updates.
• Use metrics to continually refine commercial positioning and customer success narratives.
6. Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the connective tissue across clinical, operational, IT, innovation, and leadership stakeholders in NUHS and external clients.
• Represent EndeavourX in working groups, customer governance forums, and transformation programmes.
• Provide structured updates to PMOs or executive steering committees as needed.
• Build trusted senior-level relationships to drive alignment and unblock issues swiftly.
Qualifications & Experience
• 7–10 years of experience in business operations, GTM, strategy, project management, or healthcare transformation roles in health tech, SaaS, or regulated industries.
• Proven experience in startups, scale-ups, or corporate spinouts.
• Track record in leading cross-functional initiatives and large-scale operational rollouts.
• Excellent communicator with strong senior-stakeholder management instincts.
• Experience with healthcare systems, public sector environments, or regulated technology is advantageous.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled workflow redesign, digital transformation, or implementation science is a strong plus.
