The NUHS Group Communications Office drives communications strategies and projects at the cluster level for the National University Health System (NUHS). We seek a dynamic team player and self-driven communications practitioner to join our team to support NUHS’ vision as Singapore’s Academic Health System in shaping medicine and transforming care.

 

We are looking for a creative and resourceful Communications Executive/Sr Executive (Content) to join our team. This role requires someone who is proficient in using video/ camera equipment to produce engaging, high-quality content. The incumbent needs to drive video production processes from end-to-end. — from concept to post-production. Beyond the technical know-hows, the ideal candidate should have some knowledge in the social media landscape and its trends, as well as have a good understanding of integrated communications. The candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while keeping a finger on the pulse of trending topics and relevant news.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, shoot, and edit videos for various social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Operate and maintain camera, lighting, and audio equipment for in-house content creation.
  • Manage the full video production cycle, including scripting, storyboarding, filming, and post-production.
  • To be a self-starter keeping with news, industry developments, and trending topics.
  • Propose timely and relevant content ideas based on current events, trends, and audience insights.
  • Manage official social media accounts, including posting, responding to comments/messages, and community engagement.
  • Maintain and update social media content calendars to ensure consistent and timely publishing.
  • Support event coverage through photography and/or videography to capture key moments and highlights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content consistency and alignment with campaign goals.
  • Keep up to date with the latest social media and content creation tools, trends, and best practices.
  • Responding to enquiries and feedback on social media

Administrative Duties:

  • Provide secretariat support and perform general administrative tasks as required to support the team and projects.

 

Job Requirements:

·       Degree in Communications or Media or Marketing or Film, Sound & Video, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

·       Hands-on experience with video production and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro).

·       Advanced knowledge in photography, including operating professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment.

·       Strong storytelling skills with an eye for engaging, audience-focused content.

·       Able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·       Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Spotify) and their content requirements.

·       A proactive attitude with a passion for digital media and content creation.

·       Good interpersonal skills, team player who can work with different stakeholders

·       Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Capcut, etc).

Good to Have though not compulsory:

·       Experience with livestreaming or podcast production.

·       Understanding of analytics tools to evaluate content performance.

·       Experience working in healthcare
