Overview

Health Services Research (Research Design & Evaluation, Behavioural Sciences)

To provide programme evaluation and analytics support in JurongHealth Campus (JHC) for enabling efforts for health services research (HSR), performance management, decision making, decision support and knowledge generation.

To co-lead research teams with PIs to conceptualise, plan, design, manage project, implementation, evaluation and project transition, including publication of manuscripts or posters.

To design study protocols for the conduct of programme evaluation studies for key insights to support management decision making and translate findings into actual improvement in patient care.

To prepare grant proposal in collaboration with PIs to seek funding for programmes/projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead programme evaluation studies and conduct programme evaluation and health economics evaluation to assess effectiveness of the programme

  • Leverage institution data analystics and data science expertises to incorporate data and AI in research studies 

  • Institution lead and expertise to incorporate behavioral sciences into research designs specifically in patients recruitments, patients retention, data collection and outcome implementation

  • Co-lead project management team with clinical leads to deliver projects timely in accordance to approved timeline and outcomes

  • Co-lead project management team with clinical leads to provide regular project updates and grant management as stipulated 

  • Guide respective research assistants, data managers or research analysts to:

    • Confirm project scope

    • Conduct data collection, data management and data analysis

    • Draft DSRB and research paper

  • Co-develop Grant Proposal with Clinician leads for purpose of grant support

  • Co-develop Manuscripts/posters with Clinician Leads as part of research projects/programme

  • Support HSR Programme Director(s) in achieving the programme objectives and KPIs, including Grant and Project Management

Requirements

  • Good Postgraduate/Bachelor’s Degree in Research, Biostatistics, Behavioural Science Implementation, Data Science, IT, Health Sciences or equivalent.

  • Good track record and experiences with research study, publications and grant funding.

  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience for SAM/AM position, 8 years’ relevant experience for manager position – Healthcare experience would be a bonus

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with a diverse group of stakeholders

  • Motivated and self-driven, able to work independently and a good team player as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, able to handle multiple tasks and prioritise projects to meet deadline

  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficient in data analytics and knowledge about AI modelling and related competencies will be advantageous

  • Good scientific writing skills, with excellent command of the English language
