About The Programme

This Management Trainee programme provides an accelerated development pathway for high-performing graduates to gain broad exposure and build a meaningful career with NUHS. This is a comprehensive 12-month programme with structured rotations, mentorship, and professional development opportunities, designed to develop well-rounded finance professionals with expertise across NUHS's core financial operations.

 

Programme Objective

At the end of the programme, trainees can look forward to:

  • Gaining deep insights into the specialised field of public healthcare financing
  • Developing skills including financial planning and analysis and value-based financial management
  • Supporting data-driven business decisions
  • Contributing to organisational sustainability and enhancing system-level performance

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or other related disciplines
  • Demonstrated strong academic performance and well-rounded co-curricular involvement (leadership, community service, sports, or other meaningful achievements).
  • Digitally savvy, comfortable with data and emerging technology trends.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong execution discipline.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Equipped with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • A strong team player who can also work independently.
  • Energetic, organised, proactive, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Motivated to contribute to the transformation of Singapore’s healthcare landscape.
  • Fresh graduates or early-career professionals with less than 2 years of working experience
