Manager, Talent Acquisition (Allied Health & Pharmacy, Tengah General and Community Hospital)
As part of the TGCH HR team, you will play a key role in building the Allied Health and Pharmacy workforce for the new hospital. Working within TGCH's overall talent acquisition strategy, you will take ownership of the Allied Health and Pharmacy portfolio, translating broader priorities into targeted recruitment plans and solutions.
Beyond recruitment delivery, you will be expected to think ahead, identify emerging hiring challenges and recommend new approaches to strengthen our talent pipelines. You will use data, market insights, technology and AI-enabled tools to continuously improve how we identify, attract and engage talent.
Job Responsibilities
- Translate TGCH's talent acquisition strategy and workforce priorities into recruitment plans and sourcing approaches for the Allied Health and Pharmacy portfolio.
- Partner hiring leaders and HR stakeholders to understand manpower needs, anticipate hiring challenges and recommend appropriate recruitment solutions.
- Take ownership of hiring outcomes and pipeline health, proactively identifying gaps and addressing recruitment risks.
- Build sustainable talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, talent mapping, candidate engagement and targeted outreach.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for priority and critical positions while maintaining oversight of recruitment progress across the portfolio.
- Drive student sponsorship and early talent recruitment initiatives, working with relevant stakeholders and Institutes of Higher Learning to identify and engage prospective talent.
- Drive talent outreach and engagement initiatives, including career fairs, campus engagement and other targeted recruitment activities.
- Identify and test new sourcing approaches, including technology and AI-enabled tools, to improve recruitment effectiveness and candidate engagement.
- Use recruitment data and market insights to assess sourcing effectiveness, identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Build strong relationships with hiring stakeholders, providing recruitment advice and constructively challenging existing approaches where appropriate.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations to broader TGCH talent acquisition projects and initiatives supporting workforce build-up and operational readiness.
- Any other ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably within healthcare or a complex organisation.
- Strong end-to-end recruitment, sourcing and talent mapping capabilities; experience recruiting Allied Health and/or Pharmacy professionals would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use recruitment data and market insights to develop practical solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at various levels.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage diverse candidate groups and represent TGCH at external events.
- Resourceful and proactive, with the ability to prioritise, work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Digitally savvy and adaptable, with an interest in applying AI, technology and emerging recruitment practices to improve talent acquisition.
