Manager, Human Resource, Tengah General and Community Hospital (Administration and Ancillary)

 

As part of the TGCH HR team, you will act as a strategic Human Resource Partner to the Adminitration and Anchillary team, Tengah General and Community Hospital (TGCH). In this role, you will partner closely with Leads, and various stakeholders in driving the strategic HR programmes and initiatives (not limited to) from talent acquisition, manpower planning, performance management, learning and development to employee engagement that are aligned with hospital objectives.

 

In addition, you will be involved in the hospital nesting plan for the Administration and Ancillary team as well as HR projects.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Leads to identify the manpower requirements and formulate proactive resourcing strategies in driving and delivering the hiring plans to meet the manpower demands;
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing, interview, selection, offer to on-boarding of new staff members for the Administration and Ancillary team;
  • Work in partnership with Leads and various stakeholders on the deployment/nesting of the Administration and Ancillary team;
  • Work closely with the Leads and HR, Learning & Development and leadership programmes for the Administration and Ancillary team;
  • Manage the full spectrum of HR operations and services for the Administration and Ancillary team;
  • Provide professional advice on the interpretation of HR policies, procedures, legislation, manpower planning relating to the Administration and Ancillary team;
  • Provide supervision and coaching to the junior executives in the team to ensure the effective, efficient and professional delivery of HR plans, programmes and services;
  • Keep abreast and work progressively on the human resource related policies, make recommendations to ensure that they are relevant and in compliance with the regulatory requirements and are up-to-date with the healthcare climate changes;
  • Work with Centres of Excellence and relevant key stakeholders in the delivery of key HR projects and initiatives;
  • Any other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource, or its related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in HR Business Partnering with proven record in talent acquisition.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment, quick thinker and an effective problem solver. Calm, decisive, and resilient in high-pressure situations.
  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritise workload, be well organised and multi-task in a smart and timely fashion. 
  • Possess strong analytical, communication, written and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to work independently, in a team and across teams with minimal supervision. 
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationship at various levels.
  • Proactive attitude and determination to ensure required outcomes are achieved and takes responsibility.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and nurture the team to meet institutional goals.
  • Tech-savvy with an ability to learn new software and other relevant programs.
