Manager/Snr Assistant Manager, Ambulatory Operations
Overview
The incumbent will be responsible for the management of assigned clinical service(s) across the continuum of care, and achieving stated outcomes in customer service, volume & financial targets, processes and learning & growth perspectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage service point operations assigned.
- Responsible for daily operations of these service points, including front counter services, administrative / operational matters and partnering Clinic Nurse Manager, Clinicians, Allied Health Professionals and other stakeholders to solve system and process problems.
- Ensure that system and processes are in accordance to SOP to create a positive experience for patients along the continuum of care.
- Manage service points through annual financial budgeting and regular reviews with clinical heads, and development of new services.
- To ensure that workflows for new and existing services are reviewed, optimised and streamlined.
- Participate in committees and other tasks as assigned.
Partner Head of Department, Ops & Admin in achieving patient / caregiver satisfaction targets
- Responsible for devising innovative services to continually improve service levels and delight patients.
- Involvement in Campus development workshops and planning.
- Responsible for achieving volume and financial targets for clinical targets assigned. Develop and carry out clinical service plans in consultation with clinical chiefs to ensure that goals are met
Manage Service Associates (SAs) providing services in service points, as the Reporting officer
- Ensure that SAs receive appropriate induction, orientation, and training so that they possess appropriate skills and knowledge to carry out their jobs.
- Responsible for staff engagement, recruitment and retention to achieve stable, skilled and motivated workforce and achieve the desired patient / caregiver and service outcomes.
- Responsible for two-way communication between staff and management and ensure timely dissemination of information, escalation of issues and recommending solutions to problems
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in the healthcare industry; experience in outpatient operations will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Possess analytical and quantitative capabilities, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Comfortable working in a complex, fast‑paced environment with evolving priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; adaptable and open to working with changing healthcare systems and technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders to achieve common goals.
