As a Patient Service Associate, you will deliver friendly and efficient customer service and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all internal and external customers / patients, with the key aim of providing excellent patient care and satisfaction.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure operational and procedural area readiness based on desired service standards.
  • Assist with smooth patient journey including accurate and timely registration, discharge, appointment bookings, cashiering and any other enquiries such as insurance provider’s information for billing.
  • Provide chaperone assistance to doctors/nurses and prepare consultation documents.
  • Attend to any requests, emails, and phone enquiries.
  • Assist clinic manager in administrative duties.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

 

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least “O” Levels/Diploma.
  • Proficient in computer skills, handling multiple systems will be an advantage.
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to speak a second language will be an advantage.
  • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidates should be comfortable/flexible with working in a hospital setting and in different clinics when needed. Prior experience in hospitality or service industries will be an advantage.
  • Be comfortable with working in inpatient wards if required.

 

Working schedule

  • Outpatient Clinics:
  • 5-day work week, Monday to Friday
  • 8am to 5pm or 8:30am to 6pm (depending on the respective hiring clinic)

 

  • Inpatient Wards:
  • 5 days' work week, Monday to Saturday (inclusive of Public Holiday)
  • 2 rotating shifts
  • AM shift: 8am to 5pm
  • PM shift: 11am to 8pm
  • Saturday & PH: 8am to 5pm

 

  • Bed Management Unit (BMU) and Urgent Care Centre (UCC):
  • 5 days’ work week, Monday to Sunday (inclusive of Public Holiday)
  • 3 rotating shifts:
  • AM shift: 7.30am to 3.30pm
  • PM shift: 1.30pm to 9.30pm
  • Night Shift: 9pm to 8am

 

  • Admissions and Service Centre (AASC):
  • 5 days’ work week, Monday to Saturday (inclusive of Public Holidays)
  • 2 rotating shifts:
  • AM shift: 8.30am to 5.30pm
  • PM shift: 11.00am to 8.00pm
  • Saturday & PH: 8.30am to 5.30pm

 

This is a 2-year contract role, subject to contract extension or permanent conversion based on satisfactory work performance.
