The NUHS Group Communications Office drives communications strategies and projects at the cluster level for the National University Health System (NUHS). We seek a dynamic team player and self-driven communications practitioner to join our team to support NUHS’ vision as Singapore’s Academic Health System in shaping medicine and transforming care.

The Snr/ Assistant Manager (Creative & Special Projects), Group Communications will support the development and execution of strategic communications initiatives, campaigns, events and special projects across the NUHS cluster. As part of the Content Communications track, he/she will play a key role in creative conceptualisation, narrative development, branding and design execution, translating complex organisational priorities into compelling stories and audience-centric content.

Working closely with cluster and institutional communications teams, internal stakeholders and external partners, ministries, vendors and sponsors, he/she will develop integrated creative solutions and content strategies across internal and external channels. This includes shaping campaign identities, crafting brand narratives, overseeing visual and multimedia assets, and ensuring consistency in messaging and design standards to strengthen the NUHS brand, engage stakeholders and enhance organisational reputation.

Job Scope

Creative Strategy, Storytelling & Content Development

  • Develop and deliver annual content and campaign plans.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality content delivery across channels.
  • Drive growth in digital engagement and audience reach.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder satisfaction on content quality and relevance.

Creative Conceptualisation, Branding & Design

  • Develop and launch creative campaigns and projects.
  • Ensure brand compliance across all communication materials.
  • Deliver projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Enhance visibility and utilisation of NUHS brand assets.

Communications Campaigns & Special Projects

  • Execute cluster-wide campaigns and special projects.
  • Achieve campaign objectives, deliverables, and project milestones.

Events, Experiences & Engagement

  • Plan and deliver events and engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure timely delivery of event communication assets.
  • Uphold branding standards and achieve positive participant feedback.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Foster strong stakeholder and vendor relationships.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and service delivery effectively.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to support project success.

 

Job Requirements

Qualification Required and Area of Discipline

  • Bachelor degree preferably in Mass Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, content creation or equivalent; in an agency, production house or corporate environment preferred. Healthcare experience will be advantageous.
  • Strong flare in conceptualising, design and branding.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills and execution excellence.
  • A keen ability in fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders for success.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and with a team
  • Familiar with content creation landscape.
  • Production/ Design/ Publication/ Social Media experience is advantageous.

Required Competencies and Capabilities (Skills, Experiences and Professional Licences)

  • Strong writing skills including copywriting, business writing etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva and Adobe PDF
  • Experience in communications projects and events with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and tight timelines
  • Good interpersonal skills, team player who can work with different stakeholders
