Senior Assistant Manager, Finance Services

The Finance Services team is responsible for determining the cost and pricing of services with references to industry benchmarks, maintaining these in the financial systems. This is a critical role function which ensures patient bills include the appropriate charges and subsidies, as well as provide accurate financial pricing and cost data to facilitate business decisions.
Job Requirements:
- Maintain the entire suite of NUH’s service and drug codes, as well as pricing conditions in National Billing System
- Perform costing of the hospital’s services and drugs to meet the requirements of National Costing Exercise via MOHH Costing Systems
- Support the cost rebase for Value Driven Outcome purposes.
- Perform regular fee and cost benchmarking across the industry to guide departments on efficiency opportunities
- Interpret policies and guidelines from Ministry of Health (MOH) and work closely with the departments to implement the policies both operationally and in the respective systems
- Maintain the integrity of cost of service codes in the respective finance systems
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in relevant business or finance disciplines
- Degree in relevant business or finance disciplines
- Hands on with at least 8 - 10 years of relevant working experience
- Energetic business partner capable of effectively engaging multi-disciplinary stakeholders across all levels
- Proven track record in managing and processing large volumes of data.
- Business friendly and effective in context setting and distilling key messages from data analysis
- Experience in healthcare sector, decision support, change management, activity based costing
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel (advanced), VBA Macros, PowerPoint and Word, as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
