Senior Assistant Manager, HR (Corporate Services/Administration) - Tengah General and Community Hospital
As the Senior Assistant Manager, HR for Corporate Services/Administration, Tengah General and Community Hospital (TGCH), you will act as a strategic Human Resource Business Partner to the team. In this role, you will partner closely with the Leads and various stakeholders by aligning our strategic HR programmes and initiatives (not limited to) from talent acquisition and retention, scholarship and sponsorship, manpower planning, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement to employee relations with the hospital and department objectives to drive organisational excellence that is future ready and agile.
In addition, you will be involved in HR projects from policy and process reviews and/or HR functions such as benefit administration, where applicable.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Leads to identify the manpower requirements and formulate proactive resourcing strategies in driving and delivering the hiring plans to meet the manpower demands.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from organising recruitment outreach events, sourcing, interview, selection, offer to on-boarding of new staff members.
- Work closely with the TGCH Management and Leads to drive the performance management cycle (setting Key Result Areas, mid-year review, annual assessment, data preparation, analysis and charting, review of promotion recommendations to calibrations) in accordance to the Group HR’s framework and guidelines.
- Partner the Learning & Development, HR in the planning and delivery of learning programs for staff’s development and post appraisal interventions as well as promote a culture of continuous learning.
- Manage and drive efficiency for end-to-end HR operations processes.
- Benefits advisory and guidance to staff on inquiries on claims eligibility, process and conducting compliance reviews to ensure proper governance and adherence to policies.
- Provide professional advice on the interpretation of HR policies, procedures, legislation, manpower planning.
- Keep abreast and work progressively on the human resource related policies, make recommendations to ensure that they are relevant and in compliance with the regulatory requirements and are up-to-date with the healthcare climate changes.
- Work with Group HR Centres of Excellence and relevant key stakeholders in the delivery of key HR projects and initiatives.
- Any other ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource, or its related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HR Business Partnering with proven record in talent acquisition. Candidates with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience can apply for the position of Assistant Manager, HR.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment, quick thinker and an effective problem solver.
- Ability to prioritise workload, be well organised and multi-task in a smart and timely fashion.
- Possess strong analytical, communication, written and presentation skills.
- Team-oriented with a high degree of initiative and independence.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relations with different stakeholders.
- Proactive attitude and determination to ensure required outcomes are achieved and takes responsibility.
