Reporting to the Assistant Director ("AD"), the Talent Manager plays a key role in executing the institution’s talent management and leadership development strategies. The Manager will partner closely with HR Business Partners, Head of Departments and Senior Management to identify, develop our talents and strengthen our leadership pipelines for JurongHealth Campus.
Job Responsibilities
Talent Partnering
- Identify Talent / Leadership Development needs for Allied Health ("AH"), Admin & Operations ("Ops") functions
- Partner closely with HRBPs and HODs to identify, groom and position talents for leadership roles
- Support HRBPs and Department Heads on Talent Development queries and needs for the functions
Talent Identification & Succession Planning
- Manage and operationalize the yearly end-to-end Talent Identification and Succession Planning ("TISP") exercise for AH and Admin & Ops functions
- Administer TISP first cut excel for all job families
- Coordinate and schedule senior management for TISP functional / JHC calibrations
- Prepare and deliver TISP communication materials to support AH and Admin & Ops’ TISP deliverables
- Work with AD and Group TM COE to prepare the necessary TISP information for submission to Group
Talent Leadership & Development
- Implement and oversee Individual Development Plans for AH and Admin & Ops succession candidates following the TISP exercise
- Identify and manage nomination processes for leadership programmes for AH and Admin & Ops.
- Co-design / develop in-house talent programmes with AD and Deputy Director
- Plan, coordinate and administer leadership development programmes which includes both in-house and external Programmes such as MOHH/HLC, NUHS Leadership Programmes
- Administer leadership assessment tools such as 360-degree feedback and coordinate debrief sessions and workshops as and when needed
AH and Admin Headship & Leadership Appointments
- Implement and oversee Individual Development Plans for AH and Admin & Ops succession candidates following the TISP exercise
- Identify and manage nomination processes for leadership programmes for AH and Admin & Ops.

Administration
- Support in planning, communication and execution of leadership programmes i.e. venue setup, communicate confirmation emails, liaise with vendors on logistics and perform post-training evaluation administration tasks
- Liaise with shared services on invoicing matters and payment processing
Job Requirements
- Holds a minimum Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource / Business Administration / or related field from a recognised university.
- Has minimum 6 years of experience in talent management roles such as talent management, talent development and leadership / learning development
- Possess strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills
- Able to communicate effectively, possess professionalism, accountability and adaptability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Able to regulate emotions and handle stress well
- Able to work independently and be a collaborative team player
