Senior Associate Engineer (HVAC & Utilities)
Overview
Provision of operations and technical support for site HVAC & Utilities equipment, systems and
related matters pertaining to routine operations, maintenance, and minor projects.
Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following:
Support start-up activities, commissioning, and handover of equipment & systems from
project to users/ operation.
Assist in drafting of GMP documents including SOPs, forms, etc
Assist in investigations, change controls and CAPAs.
Operate/ perform/ coordinate routine corrective and preventive maintenance for HVAC &
utilities equipment and systems. (Eg. Chillers, cooling towers, Standby Generators, AHUs,
FCUs, final/ submain distribution boards, etc)
Oversees work performed by external service contractors for routine and non-routine
maintenance. Performs maintenance activities scheduling on demand.
Identifies / rectifies equipment problems and completes corrective maintenance in a safe,
compliant, and timely manner without affecting operations.
Ensures all field operations, works and activities executed in line with EHS and Quality Site
Procedures and local Statutory Codes.
Executes and completes all works and relevant documentation with strict adherence to time
and procedural requirements.
Be an advocate of EHS compliance and initiatives.
Where cGMP requirements apply, ensure deliverables meet GDP and internal Quality
standards.
Requirements
Diploma in an Engineering discipline.
Preferably minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in managing contractors in cGMP facility
operations.
Preferred experience in cGMP requirements for HVAC, Utilities and Maintenance.
Must have experience in operating/maintaining rotating equipment.
Experience in setting up maintenance systems for brown field sites will be advantageous.
Willing to learn and continuously improve.
Be a good team player and be able to manager vendors.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience within healthcare sector will be an added advantage.
