Overview*

The incumbent will be responsible to provide operational and administrative support for allied health service counters at Clinical Measurement Centre, Diagnostic Imaging and Rehabilitation to achieve expected outcomes; patient’s service experience, on-the-ground troubleshooting and risk and business continuity management. This is a full-time on-site position.

 

Job Responsibilities*

Primary Responsibilities (80%)

• Responsible for daily operations of assigned allied health departments, including front counter services, partnering Allied Health Leads and all other staff working within the department to solve system and process problems.

• Ensure systems and processes are in accordance with HAP/SOP/Work Instructions and periodic reviews and updates of relevant documents

• Analyse trends of patient feedbacks to improve counter services, focusing on closing the loop with constructive inputs to fix a problem or acknowledging praises.

• To ensure that workflows for new and existing services are reviewed, optimised and streamlined according to department’s evolving needs.

• Monitors utilisation rates of services and drives initiatives to improve utilisation of resources.

• Manage counter risks assessments and audit matters.

• Ensure that Service Associates receive appropriate induction, orientation, and training so that they possess appropriate skills and knowledge to carry out their jobs.

• Responsible for staff engagement, recruitment and retention to achieve stable, skilled and motivated workforce and achieve the desired patient / caregiver and service outcomes.

• Responsible for two-way communication between staff and management and ensure timely dissemination of information, escalation of issues and recommending solutions to problems.

 

Secondary Responsibilities (20%)

• Responsible for devising innovative services to continually improve service levels and delight patients.

• Participate in NUHS initiatives (i.e. G.R.O.S.S, Go-Green efforts)

• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by reporting officer

 

Requirements*

Qualification Required and Area of Discipline

Degree in any discipline. Graduates from healthcare-related or business management studies will be advantageous.

Required Competencies and Capabilities (Skills, Experiences and Professional Licences)

• At least 3 years of service operational experiences within healthcare clinic setting

• Proficient in Microsoft, EPIC and NBS system

• Excellent team player and effective communication skills

• Problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability

• Ability to multi-task with a “can-do” attitude,

• Empathy, compassion, and social skills help in building trust and handling sensitive situations
