Senior Executive, Communications

Overview

 The Communications Department drives communications strategies and projects for the JurongHealth Campus (JHC), which includes the Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Jurong Community Hospital.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about healthcare, a dynamic team player and self-driven staff to join the team. In the role as an Executive/Senior Executive, the staff will be exposed to various aspects of communications work, such as end-to-end production of external and internal-facing communications collaterals, maintain/manage online platforms, and organise events to profile the JHC. He/she will also support and strengthen communications-related staff engagement across the organisation. The role provides ample opportunities to learn through working with internal stakeholders across the organisation as well as external agencies and partners.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

• Shaping clear and engaging patient and staff communications to positively profile JHC, enhance patient experience, as well as build staff pride and organisation culture through a range of external and internal materials, initiatives and communications platforms.

• Delivering meaningful and impactful events, programmes and initiatives that engage patients, staff and/or the community, while staying aligned with JHC and NUHS priorities.

• Elevating JHC’s public profile and image through effective media engagement.

• Participating in cross-divisional projects in JHC and across NUHS to develop effective communications plans to amplify the impact of cross-divisional initiatives.

Requirements

• A degree in mass communications, journalism, public relations, business, marketing or a related field

•  Excellent written and communication/interpersonal skills

• Meticulous, good analytical and organisation skills

• Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines

• Positive attitude to learning and challenges

• Dynamic team player and self-driven

• Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite will be an added advantage
